DW Performance Polished Brass Snare Drum 14x5.5

DW Performance Polished Brass Snare Drum — Bright Attack and Professional Tone

The DW Performance Series delivers custom-drum craftsmanship at a professional price point. This 14x5.5 snare features a hand-polished, rolled 1mm brass shell that projects powerful attack and articulation while maintaining warm, musical overtones. The bright, mirrored finish enhances visual presence on stage, making it equally at home in the studio or live setting. Precision engineering separates this drum from entry-level alternatives. DW's quarter-sized Performance lugs provide secure mounting with minimal resonance loss, while TruePitch tuning rods reduce slippage and allow faster, more stable tuning adjustments. The signature MAG throw-off paired with the 3P butt plate grants three distinct snare-wire tension settings—a quick switch between crisp, controlled, and open articulations without breaking down the drum.
