Evans Calftone Bass Drumhead 16" with Tom Collar
This 16-inch Evans Calftone head recreates the look and warmth of calfskin with a synthetic construction. A single 12mil Mylar base is blended with a special fiber surface to bring out full middle and low frequencies while retaining definition in the attack.
The tom-hoop version fits metal flange counter hoops. The response balances attack, moderate sustain and a moderately bright character. It can be used as a batter or resonant head.
