The 14-inch Evans Strata Staccato 1000 concert snare head combines a single 10mil film layer with a calfskin-style Strata coating. The coating recreates the feel and warmth of natural skin, with a darker timbre and full, warm tone.
A 2mil internal overtone-control ring focuses the sound and improves articulation. Level 360 technology helps the head seat evenly for easier tuning. The head is made in the USA.
