Meinl HCS Dark Crash Cymbal 18"

Full-Bodied Dark Projection: Meinl 18" HCS Dark Crash Cymbal

Large-Diameter Treated Brass with Quick Decay and Low-End Warmth

The Meinl 18" HCS Dark Crash Cymbal combines a larger 18" surface area with a fast-decaying sustain, delivering a full-bodied acoustic response with a naturally controlled touch. Crafted from a specially treated brass alloy, it tames high-frequency harshness to produce a warm, dark, and focused crash sound. It offers drummers the added low-end presence and volume of a larger crash while keeping sustain short enough to avoid washing out the rest of the kit. Topped with a bold dark finish, it brings modern visual flair and rich tonal depth at an accessible price.
