Product Description
The Tama Bell Brass Snare is Back!
In 1980, TAMA experienced a game-changing year with the launch of its now iconic – and practically mythical – Mastercraft Bell Brass Snare Drum, the BB156.
This drum, also known as "The Terminator," revolutionized the market with its pure, resonant tone and microphone-friendly acoustics. Its popularity extended beyond heavy rock records to other genres, thanks to its aggressive sound, warmth, and sensitivity.
The Legend of The Terminator Snare Drum
Today, the original TAMA Bell Brass snare drum remains highly sought-after in the industry. To commemorate TAMA's 50th anniversary, the company is reissuing this beloved drum as part of its regular product line. The 14x6.5, 3mm bell brass shell, made from a unique blend of copper and tin, produces a seamless and explosive tone with impressive dynamic range and sensitivity. The reissue includes original hardware designs and features such as die-cast hoops, a Roller Action Snare Strainer, and One-Touch Tone Control.
